2023: Progressive Young Women Forum Sensitize Voters in Abuja Varsity

…Task Youths, Students on Active Participation In Election

As part of the fulfillment of the mandate of canvassing and promoting the candidacy of their Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Leadership and members of Progressive Young Women Forum, in Collaboration with the CityBoy Movement has taken the message of #RenewedHope to the University of Abuja with an Awareness and Sensitization programme for Voters ahead of February 25th Election.

Addressing the youths in Uniabuja, the facilitator, Comrade Gold provided voters information on participation in the coming general election.

She tasked the young eligible undergraduates voters on relevant information on what they need to know ahead of the election.

National Chairman of the CityBoy Movement, Hon Shoga Francis called on the registered Youths to come out on the Election Day to exercise their franchise right. “Your Vote is your power” he encouraged and enjoined the youths to shun election violence, exercise their franchise, secure their future and choose the right leaders that will get the Job done.

Speaking at the program, National President of Progressive Young Women Forum, Seun Bosede Osamaye equally encouraged the youths on the need to be proactive and get actively involved in the electoral process.
“This general election will record a high turnout of young voters, that shows that Nigeria Youths have prioritised voting and are ready to be part of governance. She said.

And we are here to teach you the A-Z of what you need to know ahead of 25th Febuary” She added.

The highpoint of the program was the talent display session where one of the students entertained the audience with his hype talent.

In response, the SUG President of UNIABUJA, Comrade Emmanuel, appreciated the efforts taken by the Progressive Young Women Forum and CityBoy Movement to reach out to the institution with the empowerment and Awareness Programme.
