Tinubu Reacts Over Ekiti APC Guber Primary

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a chieftain of the All Progressive’s Congress has spoken over yesterday’s Ekiti gubernatorial primary election of the party.

Shortly before the election was disrupted by thugs and suspended indefinitely by the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa state, Tinubu said he maintains a neutral position as regards the contest to give one of 33 aspirants the ticket for the state’s election.

He noted that none of them is his anointed candidate as all are good members of the party that deserve to vvy for elections.

“On Ekiti State APC Primaries: I have put my own political gear in neutral. I have no anointed candidate. Everyone there aspiring and contesting are very dear members and they deserve the right to participate. About 33 of them in all and we only need one of them for governorship

“We have had leadership discussions. I like the fact that they showed up respectfully and are all committed to the peace and stability of the party in that state”, he noted.
