BREAKING: Ondo PDP Rep Member, Omogbehin Declares For 2019
Honourable Mike Adeniyi Omogbehin, a member of the House of Representatives representing Okitipupa/Irele Federal constituency under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State has declared his intention to seek a reelection in the 2019 Election.
Omogbehin made his reelection intention known on Sunday at the Party Secretariat in Okitipupa local government, during a meeting of Party leaders.
After Reading out the gains of his constituency since inception of his tenure, ranging from Building of a library in Idepe High School Okitipupa, Building of a civic center in Igbotako, Annual bursary scheme for over 690 Students, Scholarships for All Law school students, Donation 2 mobile ambulances to Okitipupa and Irele local government respectively, Empowerment of 60 farmers through post season intervention, Presentation of hand held scanning machine, vulcanizer gauge to NATA, Emperment for Over 400 Constituents through sewing machines, generators, grinding machines and motorcycles, Ongoing building of civic center in Irele, Ongoing building of library in Jowiri High school Ajagba, Reactivation of the Igbotako Incubator centre to many others. He said he is seeking reelection to office to be able to complete ongoing projects and do more for his constituents as a ranking representative.
The PDP Chairman of the local government, Mr. Olorunsola Adewo in his response thanked Omogbehin for staying in the Party till date, despite offers from the ruling APC and the loads of responsibilities imposed on him as a Party leader. While also assuring him of the Party support at the local government level.
Other leaders at the meeting, including Mr. Benson Akindiyo from Aye ward 1, Mr. Isa Salimatu from Ikoya-Igbisin-Oloto ward, and Hon. Bitire Solomon, a former Council chairman from Erinje ward. Who spoke on behalf of the ward chairmen, Youth Leaders and Other ranking leaders at the meeting all thanked Omogbehin for his laudable Projects in the constituency.
According to them, his Three Years Old term in Office has brought unprecedented developmental Projects and resourceful representation to his constituency. They however urged him to do more, while also pledging their support for his reelection ambition.
Omogbehin will on Monday meet with PDP leaders in Irele, the second local government that make his constituency, to also inform them of his intention like he has done in Okitipupa.
