JUST IN: Police I.G Snubs Senate’s Summon For The 3rd Time
The Inspector General of Police, Idris Ibrahim has again refused to appear before the Nigerian Senate upon three-time invitation to explain the killings in Nigeria among other issues.
At Wednesday’s plenary, the Police boss was absent, making it the third time of his continued absence.
On April 25 , Mr. Ibrahim was summoned to answer questions regarding the insecurity in Nigerian States especially the prompting issue about the killings of two priests anf other worshippers at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Benue.
He was also meant to answer question on the seemingly unfair treatment of Senator Dino Melaye when he was arrested then.
He was said to have accompanied President Buhari to Bauchi state at the first time of his absence.
The second time happened because he went to Birnin-Gwari in Kaduna state after the attack inbthe community.
This third time of absence has not been corroborated with any reason.
