Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau has felicitated and rejoiced with fellow Muslims not only in the Football circle but across Nigeria on this year celebration of the 1443 Eid-El-Kabir festival.
Alhaji Gusau, who is the Chairman of Chairmen of State Football Associations and executive member of Nigeria Football Federation wishes Muslim faithful peaceful, pleasant and splendid celebration all through.
He noted that Eid-El-Kabir Celebration which is one of the significant festivals in the Islamic calendar revolves majorly around sacrifice, patience, trust and total submission to Almighty Allah as demonstrated by the father of faith, prophet Ibrahim.
Gusau therefore enjoins Muslims at all time to exhibit the good virtues of lessons and essence of the festival in their daily activity in relation to individual conduct with fellow human being in order to promote peace love and unity in society.
He also called on stakeholders in Nigerian football to use the occasion of the celebration to pray fervently for Almighty Allah’s Intervention in repositioning the sport and take the nation to the summit of African Football where it rightly belongs.
While soliciting more patience ahead of NFF’s Elective Congress he reaffirmed his position as a progressive and one firmly inclined towards the needful.
