I Will Give Nigeria Uninterrupted Power Supply Within Six Months, If Elected _ Ikubese

Dr. Thomas-Wilson Ikubese, a Presidential aspirant for the National Conscience Party, (NCP) has on Thursday promised that there will be uninterrupted power supply across Nigeria within his first six months in office, if Nigerian vote and elect him in the 2019 forthcoming elections.

Ikubese said this at Amai Kingdom, during his visit to the Igwete of Amai. while further assuring the people that his administration will stop the recycling of leaders in Power.

“We must discourage recycling of leaders because everyone has the ability to lead, but how can the younger ones lead when the old are being recycled?” Ikubese asked.

Ikubese equally said that corrupt public officials, who are found guilty of embezzling public funds will face Life imprisonment.

Speaking further at the courtesy vist, Ikubese assured that his administration will be based on transparency and accountability, noting that as a medical practitioner, he is coming as a political revolutionist seeking to implement the recommendations in his book for the betterment of Nigerians.

Reeling out some of his manifestoes, Ikubese said, “Your Royal Majesty, some persons somewhere have been benefiting from us being in darkness. We must discourage Stomach Politics in 2019. Nigerians must come together in unity to bring changes to Nigeria. “We must support each other in any way we can.

We must bring in new person to the system. Your Majesty, some weeks ago, the Senate raised alarm that since the EFCC was inaugurated, their account has not been audited. “Also, just few days ago, the Mace was stolen by some hoodlums and no one has been arrested, what more can be called corruption.

“My government will operate on transparency and accountability. Every month, we will publish our income and expenditure.

“Within six months of my administration, we will have uninterrupted power supply across Nigeria. I thank you all for your love and warm welcome. Am happy to be at my Palace. By 2019, I will be your President.

“YES WE FIT” is a revolutionary movement, and all Nigerians must join hands together in unity to create a dream nation and make Nigeria great”, he finally said.

In his remarks, the Onu-Osa of Amai Kingdom, High Chief B.A Alonu JP expressed joy, noting that it is the first time an Amai man will be contesting in the Presidential Election and enjoined his people to support Ikubese.

The spokesman of the Presidential Aspirant, Chief Dr. Maxwell Ogwu intimated the Palace that Dr. Thomas-Wilson Ikubese is amongst the few individuals who are worried on how the leadership of Nigeria is heading which prompted his decision to come into the system and redeem Nigeria. Speaking further, he said that Dr. Thomas-Wilson Ikubese before now has been reaching out to Nigerians via different Media Platforms and Town Hall meetings with his book titled My Prescription for Nigeria, which now forms the basis of his presidential aspiration.

The courtesy visit was later followed by a Town Hall meeting, which was well attended in Amai Kingdom.
