Former Presidential aspirant and convener of the YesWeFit revolutionary movement, Dr. Thomas-Wilson Ikubese and his wife have congratulated the Muslims community in Ondo State and Nigeria at large on the successful completion of Ramadan fast.

Ikubese, who is the Chief Medical Director of the Sckye Hospitals Ltd in Akure, in a statement obtained by Nigerian Cable News online on Friday, urged the Muslims faithfuls to continue to live uprightly, even after the completion of the mandatory Ramadan fasting.

The philanthropist medical doctor and Pastor in his statement also advised the Muslims faithful to shunned inequity and societal vices in line with the teachings of Prophet Muhammed.

He charged them to continue to pray for Nigeria saying they are the vessel through whom Allah will make the country great through patriotism, diligence, brotherliness and industry.

Below is the statement unedited:

HAPPY EID MUBARAK!

Àtùpà and I felicitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters on this occasion of Eid Mubarak

The past thirty days of Ramadan fast has been demanding on you; physically, emotionally and spiritually.

As you celebrate today, I enjoin you all to continually imbibe the message of Ramadan, now and ever more.

During the period of Ramadan fast, you shunned iniquity, societal vices and lived upright in line with the teachings of Prophet Muhammed (SAW)

Allah intends that you continue to be upright, even now that the fast is over, for the benefit of yourself and society at large.

While you will do well to continue praying for Nigeria, it is expedient for you to understand that you are the vessel through whom Allah shall make our nation great, through patriotism, diligence, brotherliness and industry.

Once again, I wish you a happy Eid Mubarak.

Thomas-Wilson Ikubese
