Eid-el-Fitr: NYP Speaker, Mijinwaya Greets Nigerians, Preaches Peace, Unity

Speaker of the Nigerian Youth Parliament, Rt. Honourable Mubarak Mijinyawa has felicitated with Nigerians on the celebration of the 2019 Eid-el-Fitr.

Mijinyawa in a statement signed by his Senior Legislative Aide, Mr. Itunu Eromosele, sent to Nigerian Cable News online urged Nigerian Youths to take advantage of today’s celebration to promote unity, love and harmony. which according to he will guarantee the peaceful coexistence of Nigerians

Happy Eid-el-Fitr Celebration: A message to the Nigerian Youth

The Hon.Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mubarak Mijinyawa, on behalf of all Hon. Members and the staff of the Secretariat of the Nigerian Youth Parliament wishes to felicitate with all Nigerians of the Muslim faith on the successful completion of the 2019 Ramadan Holy month fasting period.

The Hon. Speaker also wish all Nigerians a happy and hitch free Eidl-Fitr (Sallah) celebrations.

He further call on the youth of this great nation to use this festive season to promote unity, love and harmony that will guarantee our peaceful coexistence which will move us forward and make us more useful in our quest to represent the nation in the global arena.

The Hon. Speaker also enjoined the youths to be law abiding and desist from crimes, thuggery, drug abuse and other forms of social and societal vices that will only negates our ideals as the future of this nation.

While praying for a joyous sallah celebrations, the Hon Speaker challenged the Nigerian youths to raise up in agility, and be steadfast, dedicated and determine in the drive for a better Nigeria as this is the only country we can call our own.
