Ondo 9th Assembly: We Shall Improve On Our Past Performances – Maito

The pains and disadvantages of being in the opposition for over two years is now behind us and we are ready to deliver on our electoral promises, Hon. Jamiu Suleiman Maito has said.

In a statement made available to the public, the honorable representing Akoko north west constituency 1 assured members of his constituency of a representation more effective than what was obtainable in the past.

He reassured his people that everybody, irrespective of religion, tribal or political affiliation, will be carried along.

Hon. Maito who will be returning to the Ondo state house of assembly as a second timer is sure that the 9th Assembly will enjoy a good working relationship with the Governor Akeredolu led executive arm of government and consequently deliver on their promises.

It will be recalled that Hon. Maito broke the record in his constituency by winning the assembly seat for a second time consecutively as no one has ever achieved such feat in the history of the constituency.

On this, the Arigidi born politician noted that his victory at the polls is a chance to make up for the past four years. He thanked the people of Akoko north west constituency 1 for the trust reposed in him to represent them again and promised not to let them down.
