Buhari Travels Abroad Again
President Muhammadu Buhari will be leaving Nigeria again today to Niamey, Republic of Niger shortly after his trip from Turkey.
Buhari has just returned last Sunday from the D-8 Summit in Turkey.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina announced his new trip in the Facebook post yesterday evening.
According to the media aide, the President will be participating in a meeting on common currency for the West African sub-region.
Member countries of the ECOWAS Task Force on Common Currency are Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana and Niger.
The Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun and the Central Bank of Nigeria governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele, will also join the President at the meeting.
President Buhari will return to Abuja same day after the meeting on Tuesday, October 24.
