Fayose Blasts Buhari On Maina’s Presidential Appointment
The Ekiti state Governor Ayodele Fayose has tongue-lashed the anti-graft war of the President Muhammadu Buhari Led Federal Government, as it was reported that the FG just posted Abdulrasheed Maina, A former chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms, to the ministry of interior.
Maina was said to have flee the country after he was alleged of diverting N2 billion public fund in 2015.
In reaction to the appointment, Fayose reaffirmed his words that Buhari’s war against corruption was not genuine but vendetta and attack on political opponents.
“Someone accused of stealing billions of pension fund was returned to the FG civil service, and you still think Buhari is fighting corruption?” he established.
“Didn’t I tell Nigerians that Buhari was not fighting any corruption? Didn’t I say that Buhari was only after his political opponents?
“Fellow Nigerians, are you now convinced that Buhari’s anti-corruption fight is like Satan calling Judas Iscariot a sinner?
“I said it then that the kind of corruption that will be witnessed in this govt of Buhari will be unprecedented, am I not being vindicated?”, the Governor wrote on Twitter this morning.
In the latest news, the President as however ordered for the immediate sack of Maina and requested for the probs report over him.
