Ondo APC condemns attack on lawmaker, Omole
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State have condemns the recent attack on a leading lawmaker in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Gbenga Omole.
The Party in a statement signed by it’s Publicity secretary, Mr. Alex Kalejaye described the attack as crude and uncivilized.
The Party, in the statement also lamented that criminal elements could launch such level of attack on a law-abiding citizen, who currently serves the Assembly as the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Youths and Sports.
According to the statement, Omole is a thoroughly breed gentleman and politician, who deserves commendation and appreciation from the society he has faithfully served.
The statement added that he has made lots of personal sacrifices to ensure the development of youths and sports in the Sunshine State.
The State chapter urged security agencies to put their skills to demonstration, and ensure the perpetrators are apprehended and adequately punished, to deter others, and guide against future occurrence.
“We also call for improvement in the security arrangements across the state, to tame desperate players/ actors, as we march towards 2023 general elections.” The Party concluded.
