BREAKING: Kachikwu Enters Closed-Door Meeting With Buhari Over NNPC’s Case

The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a closed door meeting with the minister of state for petroleum resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu.

Following the leaked memo of Kachikwu to Buhari over the alleged sidelining of his ministry by the Group Managing Director, GMD of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Dr. Maikanti Baru, the meeting was necessitated.

“President @MBuhari receives briefing from Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. @IbeKachikwu today at the Presidential Villa, Abuja”, he tweeted.

Kachikwu also accused Baru of insubordination and and not being transparent against the anti-corruption war of the incumbent government, as contained in the letter.
