Ondo APC Tasks Ministerial Nominees On Productivity

The Ondo state Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged incoming ministers presently undergoing screening to work towards rekindling the hope and confidence of the Nigerian people in the President Mohammadu Buhari Government.

The Party in a statement issued by Mr.
Alex Kalejaye, Its Publicity Secretary, made available to Nigerian Cable News also said the nominees should help in improving on National security.

The statement reads:

“Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, expects the ministerial nominees, on assumption of office, to further energise the entire system to improve on security, and measures aimed at bringing succour to Nigerians.”

“The party views this as a sure way to dispel misgivings and negativity from among the populace, and rekindled their hope and confidence.”

“It is not by accident that President Muhammadu Buhari carefully selected some of the most experienced and best brains from among the lots available in the country. The onus lies on those selected to justify the huge confidence reposed in them by conceiving and implementing workable policies, particularly in areas that are very key to the overall security and wellbeing of Nigerians.”

“The party urges Mr. President to ignore criticisms against his list of nominees by those who take pleasure in doing so, irrespective of how brilliant the ideas are, and how great the intentions.”

“We commended the President for the selection, and congratulate all the nominees, particularly, Senator Tayo Alasoadura from Ondo State, on this feat. He is well versed, particularly in politics and administration, and well equipped to deliver on national assignments.”

“The party is not oblivion of the fact that other notable leaders of our party from the State equally indicated interest to serve in the same capacity. We can only hope that other opportunities would come their way soon.”
