UPDATED: ‘How A Middle Aged Man Jumped Into Lagoon’ – Witness
An eyewitness has given an account of how a man, identified as Oluseyi Adekunle, said to be in his late 40s jumped into the Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge this morning.
Speaking with Our correspondent, he said the act happened so fast at their very eyes after dropping his belongings on one side.
“We were standing here when the man coming from the Lekki end of the bridge dropped his belongings and dived
into the lagoon,” he said.
“It happened so fast. We thought he wanted to relax for a while. The man should be in his late 40s.”
The incident was reported to have happened around 11am.
Recall, a similar incident happened about six months ago when one All well Oji, a medical doctor, was reported to have committed suicide after jumping into the lagoon from the Adekunle axis of the third mainland bridge and was later found dead.
