Stop Deducting Our Salaries, Ondo Varsity Workers Tell School Management

Workers at the Ondo state University of Science and technology, Okitipupa (OSUSTECH) under the auspices of The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) have rejected the monthly deductions in their salaries by the school authority.

The worker took the Unanimous decision at their last congress.

Below is the extract of the congress unedited:

The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU OSUSTECH BRANCH) called on the Management of the University to stop forthwith the contributory pension deductions. The Congress noted that the scheme is a scam and a such on no condition should the money be deducted from the salary. More importantly, since the money is not remitted accordingly.

The Management is advised to key into former Pension scheme
The Congress also berated the Government for not fulfilling agreement freely entered into with University based staff Unions.

Osustech branch of SSANU therefore will not hesistate to go extra length in resisting any attempt to short change any of our members in whatever form.
