Prominent Ondo Monarch, Olujare Joins Ancestors
The Paramount ruler of Ijare land, Olujare of Ijare, Oba Adebamigbe Oluwagbemigun – the Kokotiri II has passed on to join his ancestors.
He was 83.
Oba Oluwagbemigun, who was a trained Engineer, ascended the throne in 1996.
While the news of his demise went viral on Thursday night, sources including some high chiefs in the town said it was a rumour.
The Prime Minister of Ijare who is the Sasere of Ijare, High Chief Wemimo has however confirmed his passage.
Ijare is a prominent towns in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State.
