Ondo Rep, Adeogun Sponsors 3 New Bills

The member representing Akoko Southeast and Southwest federal constituency in the National Assembly, Honourable Ade Adeogun has sponsored three new Bills at the green chamber.

The Bills are to establish the National Institute for Agricultural Research in Supare Akoko, Ondo state; National Institute of Oil Palm Research, Isua Akoko, Ondo state (Establishment Bill), and the Federal College of Nursing and Midwifery, Oba-Akoko, Ondo state (Establishment Bill).

Adeogun, who according to ‘Order Paper’ Nigeria’s premier civic tech and legislative multi-platform organization, has sponsored the highest number of Bills among house of Representatives members from Ondo state, also doubles as the deputy chairman, house committee on national security and intelligence.

One of Adeogun’s Bills of national impact is the fire arms prohibition act amendment bill, which has passed the second reading on the floor of the house.

The fresh bills, when passed and signed into law, are expected to be of tremendous benefits to the people of Akoko south federal constituency.
