Ondo APC Mourns LCDA Chair, Araulene

The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has Mourned the passing of Chief Magnus Araulene.

Until his death, Araulene was the chairman, Ilaje West Local Development Area.

According to a statement released by Mr. Alex Kalejaye, the party’s state publicity secretary, the diseased was a reliable and forthright progressive and administrator.

He said the late trained lawyer and politician played politics without bitterness.

He added that the party’s State Secretariat conveyed condolences to the immediate family, political associates, and the Nigerian Bar Association, at a meeting in Akure today.

State Chairman, Ade Adetimehin, recalled the contributions of the departed politician in the party’s quest to wrestle power from the opposition, adding “he was straightforward and sincerely all through”. The statement added.

The State Executive Committee also expressed sympathy to the former council chairman of Akure North Local Government area, Hon. Dele Fagoriola, over the passing of his wife, Mrs. Adeola Fagoriola.

The former First Lady of the council joined the saints after a brief illness.

Adetimehin urged the former council boss to take heart, and remain strong for the family. He assured that the party identified with the bereaved families, and would do all that is necessary to lend support at this trying period.
