Ondo APC Applauds Appointment of Youth Minister

The Ondo state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said the nomination of Ayodele Olawande as Minister of State for Youth Affairs, by the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, came to the party as a pleasant surprise.

A statement released by the party’s publicity secretary, Mr. Alex kalejaye on Monday said Engr. Ade Adetimehin, the party’s chairman described the developmental as an affirmation of the President’s respect for party structure, which the party will never take for granted.

He further said this is the first time a member of the State Executive Committee of APC in Ondo state will be so elevated. Until his appointment, Mr. Ayodele Olawande was the State Youth Leader of our chapter.

On behalf of the the State Executive Committee, and indeed, the entire party structures in the Sunshine State, Adetimehin thanked Tinubu for this rare privilege, and congratulated the ministerial nominee.

According to the party chairman, the nominee has contributed so much to the development of the youths, since he became their representative on the State Working Committee.

“We have no doubts that Mr. Olawande is fully equipped for the national task, and will prove himself a good ambassador of Ondo State.” He concluded.
