Ondo 2020: Protest in Idanre as APC thugs Allegedly kill ZLP supporter

Residents of Alade, Idanre trooped out in the early hours of Thursday to protest the gruesome murder of one Taiwo Okafor, by assailants reportedly led by one Sunday Ogundiroyo, a notorious APC thug.

Okafor was said to have been attacked and killed for donning a campaign cap belonging to the Zenith Labour Party on Wednesday.

Reports say Ogundiroyo, Popularly known as Agarawu and one Bola Akinniranye pounced on the deceased and beat him to death with dangerous weapons.

A video of the corpse is now on social media with a woman heard in the background saying that such an occurrence is a sad development and is unexpected in the politics of the hilly town of Idanre.

The late Taiwo Okafor was said to have been accosted by his assailant in broad daylight and was said to have run for his dear life until he was caught up with and stabbed in the mid region by the thugs who have now eloped.

The Police were said to have been informed while the corpse has been deposited in the morgue.
