Gombe state Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has approved the constitution of the Board of Gombe State Media Corporation (GMC) with the following membership:

1. Mohammed Kabiru Abdullahi-Chairman
2. Kabiru Ibn Mohammed-DG

Members are:
3. Engr. Adam Hassan
4. Bappayo Tambari
5. Abdulbasid Mohammed Inuwa
6. Ruqayya Hassan Burak
7. Ibrahim Jabiru Kuri
8. Umar Usman Kaltungo
9. Mrs Chala Victor
10. Garba Inuwa Akoma Gona
11. Musa Omo Difa
12. Representative of the Ministry of Finance
13. Representative of Ministry of Information
14. Legal Adviser, GMC – Secretary

The Governor has also approved the appointment of Chairman and members of the Governing Council of the College of Education, Billiri with
Dr. Maijama’a Kallamu as Chairman.

Similarly, Governor Inuwa Yahaya has approved the appointment of
Dr. Lawan Bala as Executive Secretary, Gombe State Hospitals Services Management Board.

All the appointments are with immediate effect except that of the DG GMC who’s appointment took effect from 9th January, 2021.
