The Law students’ Society of Obafemi Awolowo University is set to take another great step towards extending knowledge frontiers as it prepares to hold what will now be termed an annual programme which commenced last session as the LCOC and now rebirth to LLCOC ( Leadership Legal career and opportunities conference).

At a press briefing held on the 23rd of this month, the chairman for the conference, Mr. Gbemileke David, disclosed that the conference is organised as an avenue to improve upon what is being taught in the classrooms and hone leadership capacities.

The president of the Law students’ Society, Mr Adetunji Paul, contended that the practice of law in the 20th century is different from what is obtainable now, and that Conference is structured to cover both lawyers, non-lawyers and Students. The General Secretary of the law students’ Society, Mr. Hassan Yakubu John, in his own words, stressed the need for students to relax their minds while expressing optimism to the effect that past mistakes will not be repeated.

The vice-chairman of the LLCOC committee, Miss. Adejala Omosileayo, added her voice, noting the limitless opportunities that law practice offers practitioners.

Commending the significance of the programme which is slated to hold between 30th of June and 1st of July, Sport Director, Mr. Faleye Opeyemi sees the LLCOC as one organised to bring out the best in everyone.
