NYSC: 5 Steps To Take To Influence Your Postings To Preferred PPA

For Corps members and Prospective Corps members of the National Youth Service Corps, Nigerian Cable News online has found it important to educate you on how to influence your postings the preferred Places of Primary Assignments (PPA).

Joining any of the following groups in camp will boost your chances of being posted to towns and Cities after camp.

1) Quarter Guard :

These are corps members that will be trained to mount the ‘quarter guard’ chamber normally close to the camp gate. Corpers who join are likely to be posted to Army Barack, Governor’s office, NYSC secretariat and others. Some other members of the group are usually asked where they want to be posted.

2) Colla Party:

This group is the flag bearer in the NYSC camp, it is always made up of about seven corpers. Joining will surely boost members’ chances of being posted to towns and cities.

3) OBS ( Orientation Broadcasting Service):

This group is consists of corpers who play music, broadcast news and organize parties on the camp ground.

4) Platoon Excos:

Platoon executives consisting of the leader, assistant and others are naturally entitled to very good PPA subject to their platoon officers’ Recommendations.

5) Camp Band: They perform by beating drums to make the camp lively.
