‘Why Nigerians Will Never Forget Jonathan’ – PDP

The national leadership of People’s Democratic Party has described the government of former President Goodluck Jonathan as such that have records in the heart of the Nigerian citizens.

The immediate past president clocked 60 today and his party showered him with encomium on the account of his six years leadership while he was at the helm of affairs.

A statement to the ex-president signed by the national Secretary, Dayo Adeyeye, it reads:

“As you celebrate your birthday today, one thing Nigerians and members of the International community will never forget apart from your numerous and indelible achievements in office is your campaign message in December 2014,

‘I am the most abused President in the world but when I leave office, you will all remember the freedom you enjoyed under my Government’.

“Nigerians will remember that under your administration our economy became the largest and number one in Africa.”

Adeyeye said Nigeria witnessed unprecedented infrastructural development in all areas of the economy under the Jonathan administration, adding that inflation was at a single digit and that the country had a stable foreign exchange regime.
