UPDATE: Akeredolu Reacts To Reported Militant Clash In Ondo Governor’s Office

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state has reacted to the report of a clash between militants, within his office.

According to Mr. Segun Ajiboye, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor who spoke with Nigerian Cable News Early Tuesday morning. The reported incident was only a fight between two unidentified persons, over an alleged stolen phone.

He said:

“According to what I gathered, it was just a fight between two people over an alleged stolen phone. The governor was not even anywhere close to the office”

The CPS however didn’t go further to clarify the level of damage the said fight may have caused.
