Lorry Crushes Teenager to Death in Ondo

A lorry loaded with sand has on Wednesday crushed a female child to Dead in Okitipupa local government area of Ondo state.

Nigerian Cable News online gathered that the incident happened at about 4:00pm along hospital Road in the Okitipupa metropolis.

The Lorry, moving towards Igbodigo crushed the young girl, while crossing the road, resulting in her death on the spot.

According to an eye witness, there were too many motorcycles and vehicles packed along the road, making it difficult for the girl to see the moving vehicles.

Ejulene 93.7 FM, a Community Radio Reported that the driver of the lorry had ran to the nearest police station to report himself immediately the accident.

The remains of the girl has been deposited at the morgue of Okitipupa State Specialist Hospital.

Details about the young girl still remain unknown as at Press time.
