Land Grabbing: IGP withdraws Case/Charges Against Ayoola Fadayomi, 16 others

The Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba Alkali has ordered the withdrawal of case/charges against Ayoola Fadayomi and 16 others.

The case number MBD/03C/2022, was between Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Ayoola Fadajomi and 16 others

This was contained in a letter dated 25th of Feb 2022 from the office of the AIG, FCID Annex Alagbon addressed to the Registrar, Magistrate court Bolorunduro Ondo State.

The letter for withdrawal of the case was written in pursuant to section 108 of the Criminal Administration of Justice 2015 law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and under the inherent jurisdiction of the Honorable Court.

The Magistrate listened to both counsels and nominal complainants thereby observed that prosecution was not organised and that their house was not in order therefore ruled that all necessary arrangements should be made by next adjournment as the court is not a dumping site, the case was adjourned to 29th of April 2022.file.

It is worthy of note that one madam Stella Akinbobola deceived Nigeria Police Force from Alagbon to invade the farm of Hon Joseph Iranola Akinlaja known as Akiavic Farm which led to the arrest of Hon Ayoola Fadayomi and 16 others who are workers of Hon Joseph Akinlaja.

To serve as deterrent to the bad eggs in the ranks and files of Nigeria Police, the involved Policemen in the illegal operation are still in Police custody for unlawful arrest and detention of innocent citizens.

Stella Akinbobola has also put two workers in Ondo Judiciary Division in trouble for contempt of court and Forgery, these judicial workers have been relieved of their duties without salary and standing trial along with her (madam Stella Akinbobola) in court.

The people of Ondo both land owners and tenants can now have sigh of relief to work on their lands without fear of grabbers or molestation from any illegal quarters.

Special thanks to Hon Joseph Iranola Akinlaja popularly called Inanjo Ogiri osa for his steadfastness, doggedness and courage to fight the battle of land grabbing to a stand still. Ondo people will forever be grateful to you.

Despite the mixed feelings for the Nigerian Police, the Inspector General of Police Mr Usman Baba Alkali has written his name in gold for his promptness, fairness and Administration of Justice to bring sanity to the Nigeria Police Force and importantly to the communities in Nigeria, we hope the bad eggs among the officers will learn from the acceptable ways the IGP handles issues now.
