JUST IN: Ondo Assembly Disowns Akeredolu Over AAUA Fee Hike

The Ondo State House of Assembly has dissociated self from the recent school fees announced for the Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko by the state government.

The house at a press conference addressed by the Chairman house Committee on Information, Mr Fatai Olotu expressed that the announcement negated the submissions from the meeting held with the Management of the Institution.

The lawmakers berated the Management for not being sincere with information given to the leadership of the house at the stakeholders meeting where the Pro Chancellor said everybody’s interest would be considered.

The house said it would not be part of policy or decision that would bring untold hardship on the people of the state.

The house maintained that School fees is on the high side considering the current economic situation in the country.
