How Akeredolu Ordered Police To Open Fire On Protesting AAUA Students [SEE PHOTOS]
Students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko in Ondo state on Monday turned out for a massive but peaceful protest in the capital city of the state to show their dissatisfaction at the new increment in school fee earlier announced to the students by the school management.

The demonstration however turned sour in Oba Adesida road, the venue of the protest, when the Police started shooting the students sporadically. Following an order from governor Rotimi Akeredolu, through the commander of the uniform men at protest ground.





A source confirmed to nigeriancablenewsonline.com that the governor had given an order that the protest be stopped at all cost to the Police.
Four students sustained various degrees of injuries and were rushed to the hospital by their colleagues.

A yet to be known number of students were also arrested during the unrest.


Efforts by Nigerian Cable News at hearing from the government side however proved abortive, as the commissioner for information, Mr. Yemi Olowolabi refused to speak on the incident.
