Many Shops gutted by fire In Ondo

No fewer than 15 shops located at Obanla quarters of the Ondo state capital city center, Akure, have been razed by fire, Nigerian cable news online has gathered.

Goods worth millions of Naira were destroyed in the Sunday morning fire outbreak.

The cause of the fire remains unknown at Press time.

Pictures shared by citizen journalists present at the scene show residents putting out the fire and also taken possession of some stationery materials from bookstores affected by the inferno.
