JUST IN: Buhari Cancels ‘Trip Of High Importance’ To Rwanda
President Muhammadu Buhari has cancelled a trip to Rwanda for the extraordinary meeting of African Union heads of state and government.
Presidential sources revealed that Buhari suddenly cancelled the meeting scheduled to hold on Wednesday.
The president would have left for Kigali on Monday.
He was supposed to sign the framework agreement for establishing the Continental Free Trade Area (CFTA).
The advanced team, comprising protocol staff, security officers and journalists, who were to depart on Saturday, were asked to return from Murtala International Airport, Lagos, where they were to take off.
Details are still unknown.
