The Executive Governor of Ekiti state, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has swiftly reacted to a reported claim, that he Said he will commit suicide if the ailing President Mohammadu Buhari ever returns to the country alive.
In a statement signed and spread online by the Lere Olayinka, the Governor’s Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, the Governor said the news is untrue, as he never made such statement at any occasion and asked that the public disregards it.
The statement also revealed that such circulated rumour is an agenda to derail Nigerians from asking questions about the health condition of the President.
“Kindly disregard this statement as it did not emanate from Governor Fayose.
It is their usual way of shifting the people’s attention from the real question Nigerians are asking as to the whereabouts of the President”, the statement established.
The purported news on Fayose was said to have been circulated by Buhari Media Centre (BMC).
