I Don’t Know When Buhari Will Return To Office _ Femi Adesina

Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina said there’s no need to worry about the fact that the President resumed to Nigeria to begin work at his residential office for the time being.

The media aide, in a telephone conversation this evening, August 23, noted there is no big deal that President Muhammadu Buhari will be working outside his Presidential office as he “has broken no law”, “what matters is that he works well”, Mr. Femi Adesina maintained.

Fielding the question posed by a journalist, Seun Okinbaloye on the Channels TV Politics Today, who asked “are you aware that Nigerians are sensitive about the President working from home?’, the media aide established that the anxiety of Nigerians is needless over the office the President discharges duties.

He said:

“Those who are bothered about President Buhari working from home are only unnecessarily anxious.”

“What is important is that the President is fine, well and fit to assume his office and he is doing well”.

“Let me also note that the President is not just working from home, he is working from his office at the residential villa which is just about five minutes far from the other office”, Adesina noted.

Mr. Femi Adesina however disclosed that he is unaware of the specific date the President will be set to return to the main office under renovation as claimed by the Senior Special Adviser to Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.
