Shehu Sani Hints Buhari On Those To Include In Looters’ List

Senator Shehu Sani, the senator representing Kaduna central senatorial district has advised the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government on those to be included in the soon-to-be-published looters’ list.

Adetokunbo Mumuni, executive secretary, Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP), had quoted Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the federation, as saying President Muhammadu Buhari had directed all relevant agencies to compile documents on names of all “looters ”.

The directive is to enforce the judgment of a federal high court in Lagos, which had ordered the government to publish the names and amounts discovered.

Reacting in a Facebook post, Sani in a proverbial manner, said the government should not be sentimental in collating the list and to include “Umbrella United”, which can be inferred to be opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) but also reveal names of ‘Broomers FC’ to mean ruling All Progressive’s Congress, APC.

“The federal government’s decision to ‘publish the names of looters’ is commendable”, he said.

“Hope the ‘call up’ list will not be limited to the ageing Umbrella United players but will include those in the Broomers FC and ‘Paris Saint Germain’ and Dynamo Cabal FC players.”
