Ex-NAOSS President, Victor Oguntoyinbo, Declare Interest For Ondo House of Assembly

Leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Akoko southwest constituency(II) have pledged support for Victor Oguntoyinbo for the constituency seat at the state assembly.


Mr. Oguntoyinbo declared his intention at a meeting of the party held in Oba-Akoko on Sunday.

Oguntoyinbo, a former National President of the National Association of Ondo State students (NAOSS) while declaring his interest sought the support of party members present at the meeting.

He promised to provide quality representation for his people if elected.

Leaders of the party present at the meeting greeted the declaration with applause while declaring their support for Mr. Oguntoyinbo.

In various speeches, they unanimously agreed to support his ambition.

Chairman of ward 15, Alhaji Yekini Balogun, who described Mr. Oguntoyinbo as ‘reliable, dependable and easy-going’ young man said he has a habit of giving to his constituency in individual capacity.

He expressed optimism that the aspirant will represent them well.

Similarly, High chief D. S Ado and Prince Z.I Adeniyi The state party treasurer and convener of the meeting, both said Mr. Oguntoyinbo is a ‘perfect gentleman’, whom they believes will perform very well as their representative, with their support.

Hon. Bamiduro Dada, a former commissioner and governorship aspirant in the state, who equally declared his intention to contest for house of representatives at the meeting. Also expressed readiness to work with oguntoyinbo, towards the actualization of his dreams.

The meeting was well attended by party members from the seven wards that makes up the constituency.
