Ekiti 2018: I Have No Doubt In Fayemi – Buhari
Dr. Kayode Fayemi, the flagbearer of the All Progressive’s Congress in forthcoming governorship election of Ekiti state has earned the good wishes of President Muhammadu Buhari as he proceeds in his political ambition.
In a congratulatory note to him, Buhari described Fayemi, who is still the minister of solid minerals as a reformist whose track record in education, health and welfare will help see him through while he contest for the seat the executive seat in the state the third time.
‘I have no doubt that Dr Fayemi’s track record as a reformist—with a passion for education, health and welfare—will stand him in good stead in the elections’, Buhari noted.
The president also commended all the participants in the keenly-contested Primary as he also asked them to uphold the values and philosophy of the APC by joining hands to support Dr. Fayemi in the forthcoming elections.
Buhari further stressed that the APC takes internal seriously, and the success of the Ekiti Primary, with more than 30 aspirants, further validates the party’s democratic credentials.
On behalf of the ruling party at the centre, Buhari assured that they will continue to work hard to lead Nigeria to the next level of its development journey.
