Eid-el-Fitr: Former Presidential Aspirant, Ikubese Greets Muslims, Urges Continuous Social Uprightness
Former presidential aspirant and convener of the #YesWeFit revolutionary movement, Dr. Thomas-Wilson Ikubese has felicitated muslims in Ondo state, Nigeria and across the world over today’s Eid el- Fitr celebration.
Ikubese, in a statement made available to journalists enjoin the Muslim faithfuls to maintain that same level of divine consecration and social uprightness they imbibed during the fasting period, while adding that they are necessary ingredients for building a functional society.

I join millions of people all over the world to wish our Muslim brothers and sisters happy Eid Al- Fitr celebration.
The past one month has been for you a period of self deprivation and dedication unto Allah.
You fasted, prayed and eschewed every act that stands contrary to the injunctions of Allah and the good of mankind during the Ramadan period.
As you celebrate the end of Ramadan fasting today, I enjoin you to maintain that same level of divine consecration and social uprightness, for these are necessary ingredients for building a functional society.
Once again, I wish you happy Eid Al-Fitr and pray that Almighty Allah grants you and your family the grace to witness many more of this celebration in peace and good health.
