Dr. Kehinde Felix To Receive Traditional Chieftaincy Title In Ondo
All is now set for the installation of Sir Dr. Felix Olaleye Kehinde (KSC) as the new Lodaun-Lijofi of Ondo Kingdom under the authority of Oba Victor Kiladejo, the Osemawe and Paramount Ruler of Ondo Kingdom.
The installation and presentation of the Uda ceremony, scheduled to hold on April 11, 2026 in Ondo City, is expected to attract prominent sons and daughters of the kingdom, captains of industry, political leaders, and friends of Dr. Kehinde from far and near.
The honour is being bestowed on him in recognition of his immense contributions to the development and, wellbeing of the people of Ondo Kingdom.
A Knight of Saint Columba London, Dr. Kehinde is a distinguished medical practitioner trained both in Nigeria and abroad. Over the years, he has served in several reputable health institutions across the United Kingdom, including the Prince Charles Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital, Queen Mary Hospital, as well as Queen Mary Specialist Hospital and Barnet Hospital.
He also worked at Nuffield House Surgery where he started as a Junior Partner and rose to the position of Lead General Practitioner and registered Care Quality Commission (CQC) Manager.
In recognition of the outstanding service delivery of Nuffield House Surgery under his leadership, Dr. Kehinde and his team were invited to Buckingham Palace for a garden party hosted by Queen Elizabeth II during the celebration of her Platinum Jubilee the in May 2022.
The medical facility had earlier been commended for its safe, efficient, responsive, and well-led healthcare services, earning recognition as one of the most improved facilities in the West Essex and Hertfordshire region of England.
A highly decorated family medicine consultant, Dr Kehinde is a fellow Royal College of Surgeon and Member Royal College of General Practitioner England. He was the Member House of Representatives Candidate for Ondo East/West Federal Constituency in the 2023 general elections.
Born in Elomosho, a countryside community in Ondo Kingdom, Dr. Kehinde has remained deeply connected to his roots. Through numerous philanthropic initiatives, he has uplifted hundreds of vulnerable individuals and supported community development efforts across the kingdom.
His interventions include road rehabilitation projects, the provision of potable water, and the repair and installation of solar-powered streetlights, among several other initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of the people.
The conferment of the Lodaun-Lijofi chieftaincy title will no doubt place on Dr. Felix Kehinde an even greater responsibility to continue serving as a bridge between tradition, development, and community progress. It also stands as a recognition of a life dedicated to service, excellence, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of Ondo Kingdom.
