Dokpesi Regains Freedom After Brief Detention
Raymond Dokpesi, founder of DAAR Communications, owners of African Independent television (AIT), has been freed by security operatives that earlier detained him on Friday at Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja.
This news was confirmed in a flash from the AIT.
He was returning to the country after seeking medical treatment in Dubai when he was picked up around 4pm.
Department of Stage Securities, DSS ordered his immediate release, adding that the media magnate would be officially invited for questioning now that he is back in he country.
He, among other top Peoples Democratic Party’s leaders are on the watch list of the anti-graft agency over corruption allegation.
