Buhari, APC Betrayed My Efforts – Atiku

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar spoke tough on his current relationship with the incumbent Buhari-led government and the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.

Atiku, whose presidential ambition for 2019 is no longer shrouded in secrecy complained that the party abandoned him in the scheme of happenings after he contributed greatly to see that Peoples’ Democratic Party was defeated in 2015.

Although, he noted that he remains a member of APC but he had since distanced himself from the government’s affairs.

“Honestly speaking, I’m still a member of the APC; I was part of all the processes, including campaigns until success was achieved,” he was quoted as saying.

“But sadly, soon after the formation of government; I was side-lined, I have no any relationship with the government, I’ve not been contacted even once to comment on anything and in turn, I maintained my distance. They used our money and influence to get to where they’re but three years down the lane, this is where we are”, Atiku spoke frankly.
