BREAKING: Fayose, Ambode Sign New MOU
The Ekiti state Government under Governor Ayodele Fayose and the Lagos state Government under Governor Akinwumi Ambode have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the cultivation of rice for both partnering states.
The development was announced through a tweet by the Ekiti state governor on Thursday afternoon.
Accordingly, Ekiti government will be providing land while Lagos government will be providing fund and technical expertise.
“Ekiti govt has signed MoU with Lagos State govt on Rice Cultivation. Land to be provided by the Ekiti govt while Lagos govt provides fund and technical expertise”, Governor Fayose tweeted.
To add, the Lagos State Government had on March 23, 2016 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kebbi Government to boost rice production named ‘LAKE rice’.
