BREAKING: ASUU Begins Indefinite Nationwide Strike

The Nigerian Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has announced the beginning of an indefinite nationwide strike.

This according to ASUU is due to the poor funding of Nigerian universities.

The strike action was declared by the ASUU National President, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi at the end of its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) in Ondo State.

All academic staff of universities have been directed to withdraw their services immediately.
