Aspirant Distributes Scholarship To Indigent Students

An aspirant to the House of Representatives in Idanre /Ifedore Federal Constituency, in Ondo state, Alhaji Tajudeen Adeyemi Adefisoye (aka Small Alhaji), has distributed scholarships to no fewer than seventeen indigent students in his constituency .

Adefisoye gave the scholarship during the rounding up ceremony of the 2018 Annual Small Alhaji Summer Lesson organized and sponsored by his foundation, Small Alhaji Youth Development Foundation(SAYDF).

The beneficiaries who are both primary and secondary school pupils from his constituency, would have their full school fees payment, provision of text books, school uniforms and other materials that will make their learning more conducive .

Addressing the gathering during the award, Adefisoye urged his constituency to support his bid to represent them at the House of Representatives .

He said , “I have been going round the communities in my home town in the last three days to give scholarship to indigent pupils who participated and performed excellently well in our ANNUAL SMALL ALHAJI SUMMER LESSON organized and sponsored by Small Alhaji Youth Development Foundation.”

According to him, “We are not unaware of the fact that, most of these pupils though desirous of education do not have privileges of being sponsored to school so our foundation affords them that opportunity.

” Part of the Scholarship package is to pay School Fees of Our beneficiaries, Provide them with Textbooks, notebooks, and other materials among other things that may facilitate their learning in school.

“Once again, I wish to congratulate the beneficiaries of this year’s Scholarship, we hope you will repay our kindness by becoming outstanding in the future and performing excellently well in your Academics.

“We know You are the future of this our Sunshine State and Nigeria as a whole. Go and make us Proud!”.

While assuring the people of his constituency that educational welfare programs will form larger part of his priorities if elected as member of the National Assembly, Adefisoye thanked the leaders of each community and parents for their corporation during the lesson .

He said ,until men and women of goodwill with proven credibility populates Nigeria’s institutions of government, the country may tarry in the match to attaining the fullest potentials of her nationhood.

According to him, so many of the known challenges still persist, but our resilience as a people is the only anchor of hope.

He promised to ensure that development comes to his constituency, if given the opportunity to serve his people at the National Assembly

Reacting, parents of beneficiaries , appreciated the feature and urged other politicians to emulate him.

One of the parents ,Mr Oluwagbotemi, whose child benefited most from Nursery 2 to Primary 6 said “I thank Honourable for this scholarship, I call him Honourable because God is on his side and he is the winner already.

” I never knew I can benefit like this from a man who I have not even vote for before.

Another parent, Mr. Okoro, said” I am happy today that my child win, he tried last year but couldn’t get it but see him today, he don win. God go continue to bless Small Alhaji & prosper his business.
