APC Loses State Exco In Ondo

The welfare secretary of the Ondo State chapter of All Progressives Congress, (APC), Honourable Omotola Akinseye, is dead.

According to a statement issued by the party’s publicity secretary, Mr. Alex Kalejaye on Tuesday, Akinseye succumbed to the ultimate call yesterday evening, at the Trauma Centre of the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo.

He was 67 years old.

“As the State Welfare Secretary, he discharged his duties with integrity, zeal, and sense of responsibility. His commitment to peace and fairness was enviable.” Kalejaye said

“He was a committed elder in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, and Chairmen, Pure Water Producers Association, Ile Oluji.

“Ondo APC would definitely miss the political experience of Akinseye, a one time Councillor, and later Special Assistance to former governor Olusegun Agagu, as the party prepares for governorship election.

“While praying God to accept his soul, the party commiserates with the immediate family, friends, the Redeemed Christian Church, and Ile Oluji/ Okeigbo branch of APC.” He added.
