Akeredolu Approves Appointment of LG secretaries in Ondo

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state has approved the Appointments of local government secretaries in the eighteen council areas of the state.

State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) , Engr. Ade Adetimehin, disclosed this on Sunday when he met with all the local governments’ Party, and council chairmen in Akure.

He also said that the legislative structures of the eighteen local government areas in Ondo State are to be inaugurated on Monday.

Adetimehin said the leader of the party in the State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, had graciously approved the decision in the interest of good governance.

Adetimehin urged the executive and the legislative arms of the local administrations to explore ways to work together harmoniously in the interest of their people.

He also called on party chairmen, and council bosses to give quality attention to the building of the ruling party in their various areas.

The APC chieftain cautioned against unfounded insinuations and avoidable wranglings that could lead to divisions within the party.

The chairman Added that the appointments of the LG secretaries were part of the efforts to fortify local government administration in the State, and promote quality service delivery in the third tier government.
