Ajipe, Omowunmi, Dojumo Bag Chronicle Magazine Award
The Chronicle magazine, an Ondo state based media outfit has concluded plans to roll Award of Excellence for outstanding individuals in the state.
This is part of activities to mark the fifth year Anniversary of the Magazine.
Among those found worthy of the gestures is the Chairman of Klick Konect Network, Chief Alex Ajipe, a Business Management and Public Relations firm based in Akure, Nigeria and some other countries.
The Irawo Ola of Yoruba land and Emure-ile born business man will be awarded the Man of the Year for his outstanding performance as an entrepreneur and his numerous services to humanity.
Also on the award list is a two-time member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and currently Ondo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Omowunmi Olatunji. Olatunji is also a unique Akure born Politician who derives pleasure in putting smiles in people’s faces.
To receive the Pillar of Security Award is the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security Matters, Alhaji Jimoh Dojumo.
Alhaji Dojumo was born in Owo and a retired Police Officer who has done a lot in collaboration with Security personnel to rid the state of criminal activities.
Other Awardees are the CEO of Chicken Republic and Oyato Bread, Mr Olayato Aribo who would be conffered as the Industrialist of the Year while Surveyor Semiu Adigun will be honoured as Outstanding Surveyor of the Year. Mr Areoye Oyeyemi Najeem, Mr Kunle Ariyo, Mr Tokunbo Ayejoto and Mrs Laurel Ojo would be celebrated in their various area of occupation and specialization.
The event is scheduled for 3p.m on the 12th of August, 2018 at Royal Parklane Hotel, Ijapo Estate Akure under the Chairmanship of Ambassador Omolade Oluwateru, former Deputy Governor of Ondo State.
The Anniversary celebration is expected to draw Political Bigwigs ,Entrepreneurs, and Business Moguls with the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Olurotimi Akeredolu as Special Guest of Honour.
The Anniversary Lecture with the theme “The Quest for Power Shift to Nigerian Youth; Prospect and Challenges” will be delivered by Rotimi Ogunleye ACA, a public affairs analyst and social commentator.
Chairperson of the day is Mrs Oluwakemi Mimiko, wife of the Former Governor of Ondo State while Hon. Afe Olowokere, Member, House of Representatives and Rt. Hon. Bamidele Oloyelogun, Speaker Ondo State House of Assembly are the Special Guests respectively.
Royal father of the day is the Deji of Akureland, HRM. Oba Aladelusi Ogunlade Aladetoyinbo.
According to the Publisher, Mr Olaseeni Oyesusi, Chronicle Magazine came into being about 5 years ago to serve as the feedback between the government and the people to disseminate undiluted reportage to the people
