Aggrieved Chairmanship Aspirant Distant Self From ‘Fresh PDP’

Tunde Adeniran, one of the aggrieved chairmanship aspirants at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Convention, says he has no hands in the crisis rocking the party.

Adeniran, who stormed out of the convention venue in anger, said this in reaction to the formation of the factional group known as ‘Fresh PDP’.

The Fresh PDP is led by Emmanuel Nwosu.

“Aggrieved members of PDP have the right to pursue their cases without him being linked with such,” said Adeniran who spoke through Shehu Gaban, the director of his organisation.

“Although he was not totally satisfied with the entire process of the convention, he had to submit himself to the ongoing internal dispute resolution of PDP.” he further said

He was the consensus candidate of the south-west in the election.
