2019 Poll: INEC Releases Final List Of Ondo Senatorial Candidates

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the final list of senatorial candidates from Ondo state ahead of the February 16 elections.

In the list obtained by journalists on Thursday and signed by Rose Oriaran-Anthony, the INEC’s secretary, 40 candidates from different political parties were cleared to contest the election across the three senatorial districts of the state.

Those cleared from Ondo north district include; Tunji Abayomi(AA), Jide Ipinsagba(ADC), Modupe Olayinka(ADP), Ajayi Boroffice(APC), Adeola Kayode( ASD), Philips Alonge(PDP), Ogunbodede Olorunyomi (PPN), Ojouro Adedotun(PT), Sadjere Reagan(SDP) and Sinmi Odumbaku(ZLP).

For the Central Senatorial district, those cleared are;Sehinde Soledayo(AD), Gbenga Ogunniya(ADC), James Olamilege( ADP), Tayo Alasoadura (APC), Rotimi Olasogba(ASD) Henry Adewole( DA), Akin Olowookere(MPN), Anthony Atewoja(MRDD) , Fawehinmi Ranti(NCP) , Jenyo Funmilayo(NRM), Ayo Akinyelure (PDP), Peter Akinnugba(PPA), Lekan Olusoga( PT),Awe David(SDP), Rotimi Boboye(UPN) and Olusegun Mimiko(ZLP).

Also, those cleared in Ondo south senatorial are; Olatunji Adeoye Felder(AA), Stephen Ikuerowo(ACPN), Omogunwa Yele(APC), Stevenson Odusola(ADC), Olusola Ogunnowo(ADP), Iyitayo Oduayo(APP), Yemi Deborah (ASD), Dolapo Fatogun( MPN), Temidayo Adebulu(MRDD), Nicholas Tofowomo(PDP), Solomon Iyantan(PT), Agboola Solomon (SDP), James Useghan( SNP), Stephen Ayebo(UPC) and Eni Akinsola(ZLP).

The electoral commission had fixed February 16 for the presidential, senatorial and House of Representatives elections.
