AAUA Abuja Alumni Get New Executives
The Abuja Chapter of the Alumni Association of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, has elected new executives to lead the association for the next two years.
The election, which was held on Sunday in Abuja, saw Mr. Akinola Dapo Jenje elected as Chairman; Ajisola Judge Kabir emerged as Vice Chairman; Adedapo Adegboyega Adejumo as Secretary.
Also, Mrs Bukola Osoba emerged as Assistant General Secretary; Ladele Bukola as Treasurer; Aribisala Oluwatosin as Director of Welfare; Mrs. ‘Tayo Lawal as Legal Adviser; Adeyinka Ibrahim and Bayo Jimoh as Planning and Publicity Secretary.
National President, Comrade Adekunle Adetoba who inaugurated the newly elected executive members charged them to buckle up in ensuring the Association gets better.
He encouraged members to make use of the Association’s portal aauaconnect.com to explore the network of alumni worldwide.
He also intimated the Congress of the Alumni Cooperative Society platform which allows members to save and access short term funding for Business projects and personal projects.
The elected Chairman, Akinoladapo Jenje thanked the association for electing him for another tenure and promised to make good use of the opportunity.
Speaking further, he urged members to pay their annual dues as its the only panacea to move the association forward.
